The rollers are designed for leveling and compacting the soil layer both before and after sowing. They are exceptionally effective at crushing clods from previous soil cultivation and preparing the seedbed before sowing; when used after sowing, they compact the soil, promote germination, and preserve moisture. The roller wheels are available in three types: disc (Cambridge type), crosskill, and smooth (tubular).
